At the 43rd Annual Art and the Animal Exhibition and National Tour,hosted by The Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum in Oradell, NJ,”Zero Tolerance” received the Society of Animal Artists 2003 Award of Excellence, The Leonard J. Meiselman Award for Realistic Painting Executed in an Academic Manner, and The Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum Purchase Award. Zero Tolerance” is in the Museum’s permanent collection. The Society of Animal Artists, founded in 1960, works to promote excellence in the portrayal of animals and to educate the public through seminars, lectures and teaching demonstrations.
